Learn and implement the Kanban Method in Legal Services!

The legal services industry is undergoing rapid and highly complex transformation. Despite the rapid pace of change over the past few decades, lawyers and legal professionals are still anchored in traditional work management structures and leadership styles.

Incorporating organizational agility means changing the way things are done to generate differentiated results for all stakeholders. To create agile, resilient legal teams and organizations that are capable of reinventing themselves to provide sustainable, competitive and modern legal services, it is necessary to promote a new culture, new management structures and new leadership models based on fundamental values.

5 Benefits of Kanban for Legal Teams:

1. Visual management: Kanban provides a clear visual mapping of the progress of each case, allowing lawyers to track the status of cases and increase collaboration. This transparency improves internal coordination, preventing delays and complications in processes.

2. Strategic Adaptability: With its adaptable nature, Kanban allows law firms to quickly adjust their strategies in response to new information or legislative changes, continuously improving workflow and identifying bottlenecks.

3, Remote work: Another notable advantage is the reduction in excessive dependence on emails and WhatsApp messages for daily management, simplifying communication and making it more direct and efficient, a benefit that proves even more valuable in the context of remote work, where clarity in the exchange of information is fundamental to the productivity and success of the legal team.

4. Resource Optimization: By encouraging the identification of redundant or unnecessary procedures, Kanban directs efforts towards activities that truly bring value, optimizing the use of office time and resources and balancing the workload.

5. Continuous Evolution: The Kanban methodology engages the firm in a process of constant feedback and review, promoting a culture of continuous improvement not only in the quality of legal services, but also in the professional development of the team.

Legal coordinator at Mandaliti Advogados

We completed Kanban training and gained a comprehensive view of risk management for the work to be carried out, enabling us to better identify problems in a collaborative manner.

In my position as team leader for two large, renowned clients in the supplementary health market, the course significantly helped to better understand the work, improve productivity, balance the capacity of the system and, mainly, of the team.

Another point that deserves to be highlighted is the certainty that there is no right or wrong, because in Kanban, with continuous improvements, it will be possible to create a more humane change system, where everyone can work together, promoting problem solving, seeing bottlenecks and, mainly, identifying what generates value for the customer.

I thank everyone involved for this opportunity for growth and learning, especially.
